Meet Denise...

Denise Ebanks, captured using Photo Booth! Professional wedding photographer and portrait photographer in Surrey, Kent and London Firstly, warm congratulations on your forthcoming wedding!

For most of us who plan our wedding, either alone or with a wedding planner - as I did, it's very exciting and often brings with it some anxiety along the way.
Over 10 years ago, I married my best friend, Michael, at a beautiful lush destination in Hawaii. Some of the things that stick in my mind are the Reverend getting my name mixed up and calling me ‘Gwen’, how nervous I was as I approached my future husband and that I may slip in my newly purchase Charles Jordans, how soft the cake's frosting (that's a creamy icing to us UK folk) was, how we muddled sipping our Champagne toast and laughed together, seeing the look of pride in my husband and parents' faces and how exhausted we both were at the end of the day!

Thankfully, our photographer captured those special moments we still treasure today - the cake‘s gone, we've used our airmiles and the shoes were later scuffed, however, we have our images and the story they tell to share with our two amazing children and enhance our memories of our special day.

When Michael and I became a ‘couple’, more than 20 years ago, we were keen amateur photographers. It's in the last five years that I made a choice to take my photography to the next level and train professionally. In 2006, a panel of judges from British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and Master Photographers Association (MPA) jointly awarded me my professional qualification in photography. I've trained with and been mentored by some of the best photographers in the world, including UK portrait and wedding Fellow photographer Kevin Wilson; and celebrity photographer Bob Davis, photographer to Oprah Winfrey, Eva Longoria & Tony Parker and recently La La Vazquez & Carmello Anthony. Photography Awards I have won, took me to Las Vegas where I participated in classes and seminars with the likes of Mike Larson and Joe Buissink. In my pursuit of perfection and being my own toughest critic, it took a Guy with a BAFTA to finally persuade me to take the plunge into professionally capturing beautiful wedding memories and I absolutely adore what I do - I have photographed lovely couples' destination weddings in some of the most beautiful places in the world and made some great friends along the way; from my heart, thank you Guy!

I'm excited at the prospect of meeting you, seeing your dress (well the bride's dress), your shoes and of course capturing your wedding memories.

Denise Ebanks, your Master Photographer

Twelve years ago, when Denise made the choice to invest in the skills required to become a web designer, she had no idea that it would still benefit her today as she's designing the ‘Denise Ebanks Weddings’ website. The financial return on investment during her seven year web design career was very good, however, the invaluable experience gained together with the contributions she made whilst designing for luxury brand Harrods of Knightsbride and household name Barclays, is far greater.

Denise and Michael Ebanks, a British UK-based married couple, recently established their wedding photography business in some of the most beautiful locations in the world, capturing glamorous images of beautiful destination brides and their wedding parties.

With four years of professional portrait photography behind her, multiple awards, training and mentoring with some of the best photographers in the world, Denise is finally debuting her wedding photography service in the UK.

Exotic, jet-setting and enjoyable are just a few adjectives for photographing wonderful destination brides and grooms. Denise is now seeking to expand her British wedding photography service and is offering a limited number of couples, wedding photography coverage at only £500, with a considerable selection of printable images on DVD.
